Two encouraging news items from Bulls coach Billy Donovan's pregame interview:

* Zach LaVine's visit to a medical specialist in Los Angeles "went very well." Donovan said doctors "feel totally fine about LaVine resuming playing" and "when the season resumes, we expect to have him back."

* Alex Caruso (wrist surgery) expected to be cleared to resume dribbling and shooting in 7 to 10 days.
